How Do You Clean an Evenflo Car Seat?
From infant seats to all-in-ones, Evenflo seats come in a lot of models. Here's how to clean yours the way its manual allows.
Brand Guides3 min readBy Fresh Start

Start with the label
Find the label on the seat with the model number and date of manufacture. It's usually on the shell, on the side, back or bottom. Snap a photo of it.
Find the matching manual
Search Evenflo's website for your model number to find the manual, or contact Evenflo's customer service. Use the manual for your exact seat; a similar model's instructions may not match.
Look under the cover
This is a real Evenflo shell Tori cleaned. From the outside, the seat looked fine. Under the cover, crumbs and spills had built up for months.

Cleaning it
- Photograph the seat and the harness routing before you take anything off.
- Vacuum every seam, cup holder and the buckle area.
- Remove the cover and pads as the manual shows, and clean them the way it lists.
- Clean the harness and buckle only the way the manual allows.
- Wipe the shell, including the belt paths.
- Let everything dry fully before you reassemble it with the manual and your photos.
