Fresh Start Baby Gear Cleaning is a small, mom-owned business in Wesley Chapel, Florida. When you reach out to us, you're trusting us with your contact details and, often, your baby's gear. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and never do) with it.

What we collect

When you send a request through our website form, we collect what you type in:

Your name, email address and mobile phone number
Your city or ZIP code
Details about your gear: what needs cleaning, how many pieces, brand and model, your preferred day, drop-off or pickup, add-ons, and any notes you add

We also receive anything you choose to send us directly by text, phone, email or social media.

Like most websites, our site (hosted by Squarespace) automatically collects basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location, using cookies and similar tools. This helps the site work properly and shows us, in general terms, how people use it.

How we use it

To reply to your request, confirm pricing and schedule your cleaning
To arrange drop-off or pickup
To text or call you about your appointment and let you know when your gear is ready
To keep simple records of the work we've done
To keep our website running and improve it

Text messages

If you check the text message consent box on our form, you agree that Fresh Start may call or text you at the number you provide about your request and appointment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing us.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with anyone for their marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with the services we use to run the business, and only as needed:

Squarespace hosts our website and receives form submissions.
Squarespace Scheduling handles online booking, and Square handles payments. Their own privacy policies apply to the information you give them.
Our email and phone providers carry our messages to you.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other services, such as our booking calendar, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for how they handle your information.

Children's privacy

We clean baby gear, but our website is meant for parents and caregivers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to provide our services, keep basic business records and meet legal requirements. Then we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you at any time. Just email or text us using the contact details below.

Protecting your information

We use reputable, secure services to run our website and business, and we limit access to your information. No method of sending or storing data is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
